1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or accessing the Mawaddah platform (“Service”, “we”, “us”), located at https://mawaddah.love, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Our Purpose & Islamic Conduct

Mawaddah is designed strictly for individuals seeking halal matrimony (Nikah) in accordance with Islamic values and principles. All users agree to:

• Use the platform with sincere, serious matrimonial intentions only.
• Maintain modesty (Haya), respect, and dignity in all interactions, messages, and profile representations.
• Provide accurate, truthful information regarding age, marital history, location, and background.
• Refrain from any unlawful, vulgar, harassing, deceptive, or defamatory behavior.

3. The Role of Matchmakers (“Rishta Aunties”)

Matchmakers on Mawaddah are independent community facilitators who assist in reviewing profiles and suggesting potential matches based on mutual criteria.

While Mawaddah verifies the identity and credentials of approved matchmakers, matchmakers are independent individuals and not employees or agents of Mawaddah. Mawaddah does not guarantee marital success, individual character, or outcomes resulting from any introduction. Seekers and their families are advised to perform their own due diligence, istikhara, and parental consultation.

4. User Accounts & Privacy

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to distribute, screenshot, copy, or publicly share photographs, personal details, or contact information of any other user without their explicit consent. Unauthorized sharing of another user's biodata is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account termination.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain premium features or matchmaker packages may require payment. All payment processing is securely handled through our authorized payment partner, Stripe. Subscription terms, renewal periods, and pricing are clearly displayed prior to purchase. Unless specified otherwise, payments are non-refundable once services or premium access have been utilized.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user account at our sole discretion, without notice, if we find evidence of fraudulent information, inappropriate conduct, harassment, commercial solicitation, or violation of these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mawaddah and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform, interactions with other users, or decisions made based on matchmaker introductions.
